Fly Drawing Instructions
Step 1: I will start our fly by drawing an ellipse for the thorax.
Step 2: Draw a half circle and attach it to the oval to construct the fly’s head.
Step 3: To make the fly’s wings, draw a larger ellipse. Make sure the wings are facing down.
Step 4: Draw another larger ellipse, this time on the other side of the thorax. Make sure that both wings are the same size.
Step 5: For the fly’s abdomen, draw a half-ellipse behind the wings.
Step 6: Draw two little segments in the fly’s head region.
Step 7: Draw little horn-like pieces in front of the head to form the mouth.
Step 8: Draw little parts to represent the fly’s forelimbs.
Step 9: Draw the same but folded forelimb segments behind the forelimbs.
Step 10: Draw folded segments behind the wings for the fly’s hindlimb.
Step 11: draw straight strokes on the wings for detailing.
Step 12: Now finish the picture by coloring it in with appealing colors.
